Providing the means to innovate.

This is a collaboration to encourage the use of innovations in the arts and potentially create job opportunities for people with artistic and craft related interests.

After years of effort in sheet folding theory and practice novel and creative tools have emerged.

Our current tool is a pair of mats which enable the user to create designs from paper and other materials.

This novel tool is being used to convert paper, thin metal and other materials into strong, functional and artistic forms.

Potential applications range from coverings for ceilings and walls, crafted designs of packaging, cards and designs of accessories.

Very light weight, impact resistant structures have been built by layering converted paper.

Strong, light weight furniture has been built by sandwiching converted paper between layers of thin wood.

NOTE: Discarded copy paper and other paper can be converted in cushioning for shipping to replace plastic bubble wrap and other less environmentally friendly materials.

Paper or other materials is placed between a pair of mats and crimped into a design which matches those of the mats.

Mats can be made in a variety of sizes, patterns and colors.
