Medical center innovation programs in and outside of major universities are growing.
Many hospitals do not yet have innovation programs and are missing out on opportunities to encourage innovative solutions to everyday challenges as well as attract and motivate a wide range of staff from MDs and RNs to techs and IT staff. Also, news regarding innovations is meaningful to patients and their families.
In addition, medical device, diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies spend millions of dollars to identify new opportunities based on staff experience. This is experience the center should be able to use to grow.
Our goal is to enable medical center management and staff to best understand the benefits of developing a position regarding innovation and technology management and utilize this information to set up programs which will benefit patients, staff and the community.
